Difficult times connect us, have the ability to deepen our ability to relate to each other, and respect our own humanity. Over the course of a few months, I collected painful memories that some women carry and considered what we know and understand of people we bypass everyday. A single sentence written anonymously, their stories appear in the heart-motif pieces.
